Glass door maintenance tips

1, When we use glass door, we must keep the glass clean and tidy, and install it in a dry and ventilated place to avoid damage of glass door components.

2, Do not swing the glass sliding door too hard, avoid its weight overload. Prevent hitting the door body, and it is strictly prohibited to damage the door and track by sharp instruments or force, causing obstacles. If the door body or frame is damaged, please contact the manufacturer or ask maintenance professionals to repair.

3, Keep the glass sliding door track clean and prevent foreign objects, if the track get too much ash and dirt, it will make sliding noisily and inflexible. We can use a brush to clean the dirts, and those accumulated in the groove and door seal can be vacuume cleaning. Strictly prevent heavy objects from falling on the track, which is also a common method of track maintenance.

4, Glass is fragile material, so when carrying the glass door, try to avoid contact with the glass for any problems, so transportation process is best handling with care.

5, If the glass door uses sliding for open and close, we should regularly lubricated the piston, to be smooth and simple. Pulley is the major key part of the whole glass sliding door, although its size is small, the role is significant. One or two drops of lubricating oil every six months or so can keep it smooth.
